Do you only dream about having a garden because you don't have enough room to make one? Or do you think that you need to a lot of room to start gardening? Well if you build your own mini greenhouse you don't need to have large sums of space to start your little garden.
Let's get you started building your mini greenhouse
Step One
This is the first thing you will have to do. Installing the re-bar stakes for supporting the hoops of the greenhouse. So you will want to be putting six stakes into the ground, one at each corner and the other two are adjacent in the middle. You will want to use a maul or a heavy hammer to put the 18 inch stakes into the ground.
Step Two
You can two choices, PVC or flexible copper tubing, what do you want to use? I would personally use the copper tubing since it is so much more durable and even more attractive than the PVC piping. After you have made your decision then you will have to cut the PVC or the copper into three 6 foot sections, this will be for the hoops.
Step Three
After you have the copper of PVC cut up into the sections, than all you need to do is put one of the ends of the hoops over the stakes to make an arch. You will end up with having three hoops over the mini greenhouse spot.
Step Four
After you have gotten the hoops in place then you all you need to do is cover it. You can just use some simple clear plastic, because it will hold a good amount of solar energy in the early spring and fall which will heat up your mini greenhouse. Using the clear plastic can heat up the inside to about 10 - 20 degrees F hotter than the temperature outside of the greenhouse.
